• Assist in the development and implementation of customized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, collaborating with physical therapists to assess and modify therapies as necessary.
• Provide direct patient care, which includes administering therapeutic exercises, performing manual therapy techniques, and utilizing modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold therapy.
• Monitor patient progress, ensuring detailed documentation and sharing findings with the therapy team to adapt care plans based on individual responsiveness and recovery trajectory.
• Educate patients and their families about appropriate therapeutic exercises, at-home care, and preventive strategies to foster independence and reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Work in tandem with the multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation nurses, to coordinate and optimize patient care effectively.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and a clean, organized work environment that prioritizes patient well-being.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely records of patient care activities while upholding confidentiality and adhering to healthcare standards.

In this role, you will primarily care for patients undergoing orthopedic rehabilitation. This includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those with chronic conditions affecting their mobility and activity levels. You will play a crucial role in empowering these patients to regain function and confidence through specialized therapeutic interventions.

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited program, ensuring a strong foundation in physical therapy principles and practices.
• A valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Florida, demonstrating compliance with state regulations and standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of physical therapy techniques, treatment modalities, and rehabilitation strategies relevant to diverse patient needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team, delivering consistent and high-quality patient care.

• A minimum of two years of prior experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting, providing a robust understanding of patient care pathways.

Phyxable PT LLC offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
