Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Phyxable PT LLC, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the execution of individualized treatment plans designed to meet each patient’s goals and enhance recovery.
• Administer prescribed therapeutic exercises and modalities, ensuring patients perform these activities correctly and safely.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting improvements and any setbacks to inform treatment adjustments.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise routines, self-care techniques, and rehabilitation best practices to promote independence and recovery.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient intake forms, and assisting with coordination of care.
• Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of rehabilitation equipment and treatment areas, fostering a safe and hygienic environment.
• Provide exemplary customer service to patients and their families, creating a welcoming and compassionate atmosphere.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient demographic at Phyxable PT LLC varies widely and includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Typically, you will be responsible for managing 1-2 patients per hour in a focused manner, allowing for personalized attention that maximizes patient engagement and promotes effective rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program is mandatory.
• A current and valid PTA licensure in the state of Florida is required.

Compensation and Benefits
