Work Environment

The role of the Orthopedic Physical Therapist will be based in our dedicated rehabilitation facility in Estero. Our clinic features state-of-the-art equipment and treatment rooms designed to foster recovery and rehabilitation. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a work-life balance that is conducive to employee well-being. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients presenting with a range of orthopedic conditions, documenting findings meticulously and creating baseline measurements.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and uniquely tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals and conditions.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, supervised exercise programs, and other modalities to alleviate pain and enhance functional abilities.
  • Educate patients about their conditions, providing guidance on injury prevention, home exercise routines, and effective rehabilitation techniques.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient's care.
  • Maintain meticulous patient records, ensuring accurate documentation and timely updates to reflect progress and changes in treatment.
  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying current on the latest orthopedic physical therapy practices and advancements in treatment methodologies.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Phyxable PT, you will work closely with diverse patient populations, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will guide patients through personalized rehabilitation plans, helping them navigate their recovery process and enabling them to achieve their functional potential.

Qualifications
  • A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida is required.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
  • Two years of direct experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, pathology, and treatment modalities is crucial.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  • The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team is vital.
  • A compassionate, patient-focused approach to care is essential.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation setting would be advantageous.
  • Background in sports rehabilitation or post-surgical recovery is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

Phyxable PT offers a highly competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
