• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the diverse needs of our clients. For example, leading a weekly support group for patients struggling with anxiety.
• Perform thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, followed by the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans. This includes utilizing assessment tools to evaluate symptom severity and treatment response.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment discussions, ensuring all aspects of client care are addressed, including collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers.
• Maintain compliance with quality assurance policies and applicable regulations, adhering to the ethical standards of clinical practice and contributing to the overall improvement of our service delivery.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance your skills and ensure delivery of the most effective therapeutic interventions.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Vitalize, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults, adolescents, and families coping with various mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Our focus is on providing culturally competent care that respects each client's unique experiences, backgrounds, and needs. Through your therapeutic expertise, you will play a vital role in helping clients achieve their personal health goals and improve their overall quality of life.

• A valid California LPCC license is required.
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a mental health counseling setting is required.
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively counsel and connect with patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities essential for developing effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Effective coaching techniques to guide patients towards making positive changes and achieving their treatment goals.
• Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate and accessible patient records in compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Experience with telehealth practices is highly preferred, as you will be delivering care remotely.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Experience working in a community health setting or nonprofit organization will be advantageous.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials.
