Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting multiple PK-12 school sites near Prairieville, LA, as a valued member of a multidisciplinary educational team. You will play a crucial role in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, focusing primarily on discipline requests, and helping to ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive. This position runs from August 18, 2026 through May 24, 2027, and offers 29 hours per week across several campuses.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • NASP certification or LSSP from the Louisiana State Board of Examiners and Psychologists (required)
  • Ability to pass district background check and fingerprinting
  • Strong knowledge of special education eligibility, multidisciplinary collaboration, and psychoeducational assessments
  • Experience interpreting assessment data and crafting comprehensive, IDEA-compliant reports
  • Skilled in presenting assessment results clearly to educators, administrators, and families
  • Excellent organization and time management skills for meeting evaluation deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diagnosticians, social workers, SLPs, administrators, and teachers
  • Bilingual skills are highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve on multidisciplinary teams to identify students’ needs and deliver timely, educational assessments
  • Write, submit, and interpret comprehensive evaluation reports
