We're looking for a Data Scientist with a strong background in applied Machine Learning, who has experience using data to produce models that power real-world solutions which are actively being used by customers. The successful candidate will also have experience working with a development team to translate their models into working software.ย

How you'll shape Data Science at Achievers:
  • Work with a team of passionate data scientists on a variety of projects. Use both your IQ and EQ to support yourself, your team, and your company in achieving more inside and outside the office.ย 
  • Work with Product Managers and Development teams to develop, deploy, andย monitorย Machine Learning solutions that are integrated into software products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability through modernย MLOpsย practices.ย 
  • Work with the Workforce Science team to push the boundaries on what is known about the "how" and "why" of the ways people workย and interact with their peers.ย 
  • Work with the Product team or other internal teams to analyse data such as feature usage and adoption and uncover insights to guide future product investments or business directions.ย 
  • Work with the Client Success team to explore how recognition/engagement data relates to customer data and business metrics.ย 
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams, Product, and Data Engineering teams to analyze insights, featureย usageย and adoption to guide product investments, programย optimizationย and business directions.ย 
  • Develop repeatable frameworks and templates for insight generation, including benchmarking, demographic breakdowns, and engagement scoring.ย 
  • Bring an "A-Player" attitude: aiming for the happiness of your stakeholders; erring on the side of quick communication and deep collaboration;ย strong senseย of integrity and respect toward your colleagues (and everyone) that you express with helpfulness -ย you'reย a team-playerย 
Experience we feel will set you up for success:
  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer science, Behavioural Science or Mathematics preferredย 
  • 3+ years of experienceย analyzing product'sย data,ย buildingย AI/MLย algorithmsย or making product focused impact with Data Science.ย 
  • Demonstrated experience inย leveragingย data for actionable insights using different techniques including AI, GenAIย and ML.ย 
  • Demonstrated experience working with both structured and unstructured data and a deep understanding of ML algorithmsย and statistical modeling.ย 
  • Have software engineering skills (scripting is important for quick prototyping, but knowledge in OOP is crucial for the long run), fluency in Pythonย and SQL.ย 
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., GCP,ย BigQuery) and version control tools.ย 
  • Experienceย working in social networks,ย recommenderย systemsย and/orย NLP applicationsย 
  • Have deployed models to production with an engineering team.ย 
  • Excellent communication - written, conversational, presentation, and data-visualization.ย 
  • Experience with both software engineering (ideally in an agile environment and with programming bestย practices) and empirical science.ย 
  • Experience in an HR space (e.g.ย People Analytics) or knowledge of Organizational Psychology is highly desirable.ย
