The Psychologist position in Burrell's Autism Department offers an exciting opportunity to provide a variety of services, depending on scope of training and clinical competence. Treatment modalities may include providing comprehensive Autism Evaluations with a multi-disciplinary diagnostic team and/or individual, group, and family counseling services. As a licensed Psychologist, you will collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved and that adequate information is provided within specified time frames. Our dynamic team is committed to delivering high-quality services to our clients, and we are looking for a dedicated professional like you to join us.
The Psychologist position offers:
  • Competitive Salary - A salary range of $93,273-$98,273 per year, plus up to $12,000 in annual incentives.

  • Sign-On Bonus - A $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires.

  • Retention Bonus - A $5,000 retention bonus after one year of employment.

  • Clinical Supervision Compensation - $7,800 per year for clinical/licensure supervision per PLP or $2,600 per year for intern supervised.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team conducting comprehensive Autism Evaluations. May also provide individual, group, family, and/or other practical counseling in a variety of settings to meet the needs of the client/patient and their treatment goals.

  • Complete intake/screening and/or comprehensive assessment processes within appropriate time frames as designated by state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards.

  • Determine and document diagnoses based on comprehensive assessments and/or psychological evaluation results.

  • Develop individual treatment plans and/or treatment recommendations based on psychological evaluation results for clients/patients in accordance with state regulatory/accreditation/agency standards that demonstrate individualization and evolution based on information gathered from assessments.

  • Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, providing feedback on cases.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved.

  • Document all services provided in compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Assist clients through the transition process and complete necessary correspondence.

  • Represent the agency professionally within the community.

  • Handle crisis situations and coordinate emergency services as needed.

  • Facilitate group counseling, education, and specialty services such as trauma therapy.

  • Provide training and guidance on clinical issues and evidence-based practices.

Experience and Education Qualifications:
  • Must possess a doctoral degree in Psychology or a related field.

  • Licensed Psychologist (LP) or Provisional Licensed Psychologist (PLP) in the state of Missouri.

  • If working as a Neuropsychologist, must have recognition by regulatory authorities.

  • Comfortable providing telehealth services, as needed.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of background checks including criminal record and driving record.

  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.

  • First Aid and CPR certification within three months of employment.

  • Completion of mandatory training and understanding of Collaborative Service Goals (CSGs).

Physical Requirements:
  • Sedentary work:Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount

  • Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
