Job description
- Onsite 5 days/week 9am-530pm
- Weekends are not required but offered
- Start and end of day is flexible depending on population that they see but 1-2 evenings until 6 or 7 is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals.
- Administers individual and group therapy.
- Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations.
- Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
- Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
- Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Masters Degree with at least 3 years experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology (Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required).
CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED - Licensed Master Social Worker
- Licensed Counselor
- Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
