This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

* Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. A 36 hour week is optional with a pay package to be determined.
Psychiatric Technician - Day/Evening/Night Rotating Position Position Overview
  • D/E/N Rotating Shift Schedule
  • Holidays and weekends required
  • On call and call back per unit needs
  • 48 or 36 hours per week only

Role Description
  • Compassionate team player involved in direct care and clinical services to in-patient psychiatric patients on an individual basis
  • Activities include daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN
  • Communicate with patients effectively and ensure they have access to required services
  • Inform RN of any patient changes
  • Participate in rounds and group therapy as needed

Requirements
  • 2 years of recent experience as psychiatric technician
  • BLS from AHA
  • AAS degree in psychology or sociology required

  • Associate's Degree in Psychology or Sociology - Required
