Job description

Credentials: Master's degree in a related mental health field required. Must be either Florida-licensed as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or a pre-licensed clinician actively working toward licensure.
Location: Seminole County, FL.
Seeking a full-time Clinician to provide mental health services in a residential treatment setting. This is a non-traditional clinical role for someone who wants to strengthen their clinical skills while moving beyond the confines of an office. The Clinician will work alongside residents in the context of daily life, meeting them where they are and providing support during activities, groups, community outings, and other programming.
The position serves individuals experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other complex psychiatric conditions. The Clinician will maintain a therapeutic caseload and provide individual, family, group, and psychoeducational services based on each resident's needs and treatment goals.
This role combines structured clinical practice with active, relationship-based care. It offers a unique opportunity to develop clinical skills while sharing real-world experiences with residents, building trust, and helping them translate therapeutic progress into everyday life.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a related mental health field is required.
  • Florida-licensed as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or a pre-licensed clinician actively working toward licensure.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and other complex psychiatric conditions.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Residential treatment, psychiatric, community mental health, or behavioral health experience preferred.
  • Ability to establish therapeutic relationships with individuals who may have difficulty engaging in traditional treatment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary residential treatment team.
  • Flexibility, patience, and ability to adapt clinical services to individual resident needs.

Compensation: $58,000 - $72,800 annually.
Schedule: Full-time, Mon-Fri.
Highly competitive benefits package:
  • 9% employer contribution to the 403(b) plan after one year of employment, regardless of employee contribution. Fully vested after three years.
  • Four weeks of PTO available
  • Excellent medical benefits available immediately, with no waiting period.
  • One complimentary meal provided per shift.
