Description
Senior Consultant
Job Purpose
ioMosaic is seeking an experienced process safety management practitioner to support our PSM and
PHA/DHA practices. The ideal candidate will have experience in the petrochemical and chemical
industry along with experience developing PSM Programs, leading PHAs/DHAs and conducting PSM
audits. In addition to strong technical skills, this individual must possess strong project
management skills to manage projects, define resource plans, designate and schedule resources,
develop budgets and approve invoicing, maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of
products or reports within the project scope. This individual will be comfortable working with
clients from all levels of an organization, plant managers, engineering, operations, maintenance,
EHS, etc.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following but not limited
  • Lead PHAs for varying industries including chemical, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, food
  • Lead DHAs for dust handling facilities including chemical plants, food factories, metal shops
  • Conduct Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) and Safety Integrity Level (SIL) Analysis
  • Conduct and lead audits on PSM, RMP, EHS, etc.
  • Manage projects involving PSM and/or PHA activities
  • Provide guidance and training to personnel on PHA facilitation and perform quality control checks
  • Provide guidance and training to on LOPA facilitation
  • Assist in the process Analysis Program by monitoring PHA cyclical activity and requests for new PHA facilitation.
  • Pressure Relief and Flare Systems (PRFS) Design experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical industries.
  • Conduct incident investigations consistent with PSM requirements
  • Assist in incorporating industry best practices in to our PHA program
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in chemical engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • 5+ years of experience leading PHAsSkills and Experience
  • The senior consultant in our PSM and PHA Practice will require the following experience:
  • Experience implementing HAZOP, Failure modes and effects analyses, What-If, and Checklist analyses
  • Experience conducting LOPAs
  • PMP designation desirable but not required
  • Applicants should be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
