Job description

Crown Staffing is currently seeking experienced Patient Service Aides (PSAs) to fill openings with Western State in Hopkinsville, KY.
Patient Service Aides (PSA)Job Details
Schedule: 2nd, 3rd, and alt PM- 2:45 PM-11:15 AM, or 11:00 PM- 7:00 AM, M-F and every other weekend. OR alt PM- 12-hour shifts (3x/week)
Pay Rate: $14-$16
Location: Hopkinsville, Ky
Patient Service Aides (PSA) REQUIREMENT/Qualifications:

  • HS diploma/equivalent.
  • PSAs do work with adult psychiatric patients-must be comfortable in that environment.
  • Appearance should be professional,
  • Applicant will be willing to have nails no longer than 1/4 in.
  • Jewelry should be kept to minimum.
  • Facial piercings will need to be removed.
About the Patient Service Aides (PSA) Role
As a PSA, your responsibilities will include:
  • PSA will assist patients on different wards.
  • OSHA complaint; all training to be completed on site.
  • Background screening required
  • Daily care of adult psychiatric patients, can include bathing, changing, feeding patients.
  • Job may require standing for 8-12 hours depending on the shift worked.
  • May do as little as monitor and document or may assist with daily care such as toileting or assist with personal hygiene.
  • Will learn to collect vital signs.
  • Will need to be able to read/write English.
  • PSA's work under the supervision of the ward nurse and may be asked to work in different areas of hospital.
