About You 

We’re looking for someone who has: 

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality design deliverables.
  • Strong technical background and experience in design and/or construction project management.
  • Proven experience in developing project plans, anticipating and addressing project issues, leading meetings with clients, and directing the completion of technical reports and designs.

Desired Qualifications: 

  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing Engineering, Structural Engineering or comparable degree, such as Construction Management, with relevant experience is required.
  • Professional (P.E.) licensure is preferred but not required.
  • 10-15 years of industry experience.

About the Role 

We are seeking a Project Manager with experience leading Building Engineering projects. 

As a Project Manager, you will: 

  • Hold responsibility for all aspects of project management including supporting pursuits and attending interviews for pursuits, client management, project scope development, project planning including project schedule, organizing, change management, inter-discipline coordination, production coordination, team leadership, financial management, project quality control and delivery.
  • Maintain healthy client relationships and possess solid operational insight for driving projects and executing deliverables.
  • Understand project goals and clearly communicate them to project teams to ensure client expectations are consistently achieved.
  • Independently lead detailed planning studies, concept, schematic, and detailed designs, plans development, , and technical specifications for pump stations, storage facilities, water/wastewater treatment facilities, and water and wastewater conveyance systems.
  • Technical responsibilities may include performing basis-of-design analyses, asset condition analyses, design calculations, detailed design and permitting. 
  • Lead and support design projects, providing project planning and coordination, design method development, technical specification development, coordination of front-end documents, engineering report preparation and coordination, equipment sizing and selection, and quality control reviews.
  • Roles for projects could include Project Manager, Engineer-of-Record, Quality Control Reviewer, and Technical Advisor.
  • Be recognized as a credible leader with strong technical experience related to the support of engineering and/or building design projects.
