Proxies may represent clients in meetings, handle communications, or facilitate transactions. In the tech industry, a proxy can also refer to a server or software that routes requests between users and websites for security, privacy, or performance reasons. The specific responsibilities depend on the industry and context in which the proxy is used.

What are the typical responsibilities and challenges of a proxy in corporate or legal settings?
