Proxy Agent information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Proxy Agent, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Proxy Agent, you need strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of proxy server technologies, typically supported by relevant IT education or certifications. Familiarity with network management tools, security protocols, and systems like Squid, NGINX, or Windows Proxy Server is essential. Excellent problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and the capacity to work independently are valuable soft skills in this role. These skills are crucial for ensuring secure, efficient network operations and resolving access or connectivity issues promptly.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

A Proxy Agent can potentially earn $2000 a week by handling high-volume proxy requests, managing multiple accounts, and working flexible hours. Success depends on experience, efficiency, and the ability to scale tasks, often requiring strong organizational skills and knowledge of proxy services or tools. Earning this level of income may involve working full-time, optimizing workflows, and building a reliable client base.

What are proxy agents and what do they do?

Proxy agents are individuals or entities authorized to act on behalf of another person or organization, typically in legal, business, or technical contexts. Their responsibilities can range from representing clients in legal matters, conducting transactions, or facilitating communication between parties. In technology, proxy agents might handle network requests as intermediaries to enhance security or privacy. The specific duties of a proxy agent vary depending on the industry and the needs of the party they represent.

What jobs pay 2000 a day?

Proxy agents typically do not earn $2000 a day; high-paying roles in finance, consulting, or specialized medical fields can reach such daily rates. These positions often require advanced skills, certifications, or significant experience, and may involve freelance or contract work with high hourly or project-based compensation.

What jobs pay $10,000 a month without a degree?

A Proxy Agent role typically does not pay $10,000 a month without significant experience or specialized skills. High-paying jobs that can reach this level without a degree often include sales, real estate, certain tech roles like software development, or entrepreneurship, but they usually require expertise, certifications, or a strong network. Most jobs with such high earnings without a degree involve performance-based pay or business ownership.

How does a Proxy Agent typically collaborate with IT security teams to maintain network integrity?

Proxy Agents play a crucial role in supporting IT security teams by monitoring and managing internet traffic through proxy servers. They work closely with cybersecurity analysts to identify suspicious activity, enforce access policies, and troubleshoot connectivity issues. Regular communication with IT teams is essential to quickly respond to threats and implement security updates, ensuring that organizational data remains protected. This collaborative environment helps Proxy Agents build technical skills and gain exposure to broader cybersecurity practices.

What does a proxy agent do?

A proxy agent acts as an intermediary between clients and servers, handling requests on behalf of users to improve privacy, security, or access to restricted content. They often work with network tools and may require knowledge of protocols like HTTP or SOCKS, as well as security practices. Proxy agents are commonly employed in environments requiring data filtering, anonymization, or load balancing.

What is the difference between Proxy Agent vs Real Estate Agent?

AspectProxy Agent
CredentialsReal estate license, certification in real estate
Work EnvironmentReal estate agencies, property transactions
Employer & IndustryReal estate firms, property market
Search & ComparisonOften compared due to similar roles in property transactions

Proxy Agents and Real Estate Agents both operate within the property industry and require real estate licenses. However, Proxy Agents typically act on behalf of clients in specific transactions or legal matters, whereas Real Estate Agents focus on buying, selling, or renting properties. While their work environments overlap, Proxy Agents often handle legal or contractual representations, making their roles distinct yet related within real estate transactions.

Job description

Architect the AI bidding platform that powers billions of daily ad decisions for millions of advertisers-from a first-time small business owner launching their debut campaign to enterprise brands managing hundreds of millions in spend. You'll own the technical strategy end-to-end: real-time inference at sub-millisecond latency, GenAI agents that learn and optimize autonomously, and experimentation infrastructure that proves it all works at scale.
Amazon Sponsored Products and Brands is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Advertiser Controls team. You will set the architectural direction, make high-judgment technical decisions independently, and raise the engineering bar across the organization.
What You'll Own
- Real-Time Proxy Bidding Engine (Tier 1) - Define and lead the engine that computes per-request bids at sub-millisecond latency, build the ML inference infrastructure serving model outputs at bid-request time, and establish patterns that scale to billions of daily decisions
- GenAI & Agentic Intelligence Layer - Architect AI systems using LLMs, reinforcement learning, and preference optimization that learn from bidding outcomes and advertiser feedback; design agent-to-agent protocols, session lifecycle management, and model fine-tuning pipelines
- Experimentation Infrastructure - Design systems supporting multiple concurrent online experiments, enabling the team to test bidding strategies and AI optimization approaches with speed and statistical rigor
How You'll Lead
- Identify what needs to be built before it becomes obvious and frame technical strategy for ambiguous challenges
- Drive alignment across engineering, product, and science teams
- Mentor and develop engineers; represent the team in cross-org design reviews and principal engineering forums
- Make independent architectural decisions on hard problems-escalating only when broader organizational alignment is required
Why You'll Love It
- Your decisions directly shape how hundreds of millions of customers discover products on Amazon
- You'll define the GenAI architecture standard for the broader Sponsored Products organization
- You'll work at the intersection of real-time systems, ML infrastructure, and agentic AI-at a scale few teams in the industry can offer
Key job responsibilities
- Own the architecture and multi-year technical roadmap for the full AI bidding platform-spanning the Tier 1 real-time proxy bidding engine, GenAI intelligence layer, and experimentation framework
- Design and lead the real-time proxy bidding engine that computes per-request bids on behalf of advertisers at sub-millisecond latency, scaling to billions of daily decisions
- Build and optimize ML inference infrastructure that serves model outputs at bid-request time, including latency budget allocation, graceful degradation, and fallback strategies
- Design and build scalable, low-latency agentic systems that process millions of advertiser signals to deliver AI-powered bidding optimization and intelligent campaign guidance
- Establish engineering standards, design patterns, and evaluation frameworks that govern how AI systems are built, tested, and validated across the Advertiser Controls organization
- Drive architectural decisions that span multiple engineering teams, resolve cross-system dependencies, and unblock delivery at the organizational level
- Frame ambiguous, high-stakes technical problems into clear engineering strategies with well-defined milestones and success criteria
- Proactively identify and eliminate systemic operational risks, technical debt, and architectural gaps-delivering permanent, scalable solutions rather than tactical fixes
- Mentor and develop engineers across the team; conduct design reviews that elevate technical quality and raise the bar for system thinking
- Represent the team in cross-organizational design reviews and principal engineering forums, influencing technical direction beyond your immediate scope
- Partner with product managers, applied scientists, and principal engineers to translate advertiser needs and business strategy into executable technical plans

- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Experience with distributed systems at scale
- Experience with Generative AI technologies including large language models (LLMs), model fine-tuning, RLHF, RAG, and agentic architectures
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

- Experience in an online advertising role and have familiarity with advertising products and ad serving technologies
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
