  • Oversees the development and editorial quality of press releases, media pitches, statements, talking points, Q&As, fact sheets, and briefing materials
  • Leads media outreach strategy and on-site press engagement surrounding major markets, events, announcements, partnerships, and executive appearances, with the support of the Communications Specialist
  • Provides media coaching and real-time counsel to executives and subject-matter experts before and during interviews
  • Manages paid media strategy and annual paid media budget; oversees Communications Specialist's execution of paid media deliverables

Cross-Functional & Industry Leadership
  • Collaborates and partners with other teams to deliver brand PR plans within an integrated marketing strategy fueled by brand PR's initiatives and laddering up to departmental OKRs
  • Co-leads on ANDMORE's industry relations plan deployment and activation
  • Partners with Marketing, Social, Content, Sales, Leasing, Digital, Events, and Operations to align messaging and amplify earned media across channels
  • Develops communications approaches for industry partnerships, associations, influencers, tastemakers, and other strategic third parties
  • Maintains strong knowledge of the home, gift, lifestyle, design, and wholesale industries to inform timely and relevant storytelling

  • Monitors emerging issues and reputational risks, develops response materials, and coordinates rapid review with Strategic Communications, Legal, HR, and leadership
  • Establishes media measurement standards and reporting dashboards that assess coverage quality, message pull-through, share of voice, sentiment, and campaign impact; manages internal positioning and merchandising of PR results to key stakeholders
  • Sets clear goals and priorities for the Communications Specialist; provides coaching, feedback, workload management, and development support
  • Ensures team processes, documentation, calendars, media lists, and reporting tools are accurate, scalable, and consistently maintained
