Our Wireless Technology team is pioneering the future of connectivity. We're developing and enhancing a unique hybrid network model—combining our advanced, cloud-native 5G core with the nationwide reach of our partners. Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

Boost Mobile is seeking a Lead Network Engineer to design, engineer, and deploy scalable, high-performance network systems that support the success and growth of our nationwide 5G network. This role provides advanced technical leadership in the design and implementation of routing infrastructure within a large-scale service provider environment. The successful candidate will lead complex engineering initiatives, including mission-critical network upgrades, subsystem enhancements, and strategic network evolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review architectural requirements and provide detailed analysis of network and service specifications, including network design in complex multi-VRF environments
  • Design, plan, and implement sophisticated network configurations at nationwide scale within a service provider network
  • Develop and communicate engineering solutions through clear, detailed high-level and low-level network diagrams
  • Lead the planning and execution of network testing, validation, and integration activities, ensuring end-to-end network integrity and performance
  • Provide hands-on implementation support and technical leadership for 24x7 production network operations

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical/computer Engineering preferred;
  • 10 or more years of professional experience in a large enterprise or service provider space;
  • Professional networking certifications a plus – CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or equivalent;
  • Public cloud certifications are a plus – advanced networking, cloud network engineer, or equivalent.

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $157,300.00/Year
