Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Director to join our Provider Integration and Experience team.

Oscar is the first health insurance company built around a full stack technology platform and a relentless focus on serving our members. We started Oscar in 2012 to create the kind of health insurance company we would want for ourselves-one that behaves like a doctor in the family.

About the role:

This role is responsible for driving the strategy, program design and implementation of initiatives within the Provider Integration and Experience department. The primary responsibility for this role is to develop and lead strategies and deploy tactics that allow us to enhance our overall provider experience.

You will report into the VP, Provider Integration & Experience.

Work Location: This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week. Thursdays are a required in-office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule. #LI-Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Be a leader in the provider engagement, relations, and strategy fields
  • Set, drive and execute on strategy and vision to enhance program's overall value including determining and uncovering new opportunities
  • Understand the competitive landscape of the Provider Integration and Experience department and act as a thought leader and cross functional partner on related company initiatives
  • Work cross functionally with other departments to bring new ideas to life and hold accountable through indirect management
  • Program management of key company and department strategy initiatives
  • Report to Senior Leadership on the health of the business - including identifying and managing metrics and building and presenting management reporting
  • Development and growth of direct reports, ensuring that colleagues are supported in professional development
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 10+ years experience in healthcare strategy and operations, and/or related field
  • 6+ years of leadership experience
  • 3+ years experience in leading large-scale cross functional initiatives

Bonus points:

  • Master's degree
