As the Specialist, SCM Data, you will be joining a team that embraces data and technology to develop advanced and innovative solutions. In this role, you will engage with Supply Chain cross functional business partners and facilitate building data pipelines and analytics projects to tailor solutions to business problems, using analytics to provide insights to enable incremental results.

Detailed Description

Key Responsibilities:
Support ongoing data projects for Cost Productivity, Price Productivity, and First Quote Competitiveness.
Data Pipeline: Gather required data, organize and manage the data, clean and prepare for modelling.
Data Analysis: Support and maintain AI and Machine Learning Models for consumption by Business users.
Story Telling: Develop dashboards and recurring reports to translate data & information into insight.
AI/ML Solution Development: Develop and deploy AI or machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
Dedication to ensuring your work is well documented and version controlled.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

Experience using the following services/tools:
1. Microsoft Azure cloud services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure ML.
2. Google Cloud Platform: Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and other services.
3. Machine Learning, Good to have Natural Language processing and Deep Learning.
4. Familiar with ML Ops, Data Engineering and CI/CD Pipeline concepts.
5. Foundational knowledge on large language models (LLMs), transformer models, and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) is an asset.
6. Python, PySpark.
7. Power BI platforms.
8. Relational SQL databases.
9. The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new languages, tools, frameworks.
10. General knowledge of the supply chain is considered an asset.

Physical Demands
  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data. Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
