Overview

NaphCare has an excellent opportunity for a Provider Relations Specialist to join our Corporate Headquarters in Birmingham, AL.

The Provider Relations Specialist will support clients by providing claims status, payment information, and explanation of payment via telephone and written correspondence. The Provider Relations Specialist will also resolve provider issues and escalate as needed. 

*Once all training requirements have been fulfilled, this is a remote position.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately provide claim status and payment information to clients.
  • Demonstrate skills in accuracy and multitasking while working to impact progress within the daily workload and adhere to internal candidates.
  • Maintain confidentiality when managing patient data and company processes.
  • Demonstrate a high comfort level in working with large volumes of data.
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a commitment to customer service throughout the claims process.
  • Additional duties and specific projects as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years' of previous experience processing 1500s, UBs and medical claims.
  • Medical billing knowledge and customer service skills are critical.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also desired.
