Job description

Providence Women's Clinics is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife at full-time, 1.0 FTE to join on the campus of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. The Certified Nurse Midwife in this role will join an established and extraordinarily successful hospital-based practice serving Portland's westside.
Providence Women's Clinic Certified Nurse Midwives provide full-scope midwifery including reproductive and wellness care for women and non-binary individuals, as well as pregnancy, birth, and postpartum care. Births are attended at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center which includes a Level III NICU and OB Hospitalist support. Perinatologists, neonatologists, lactation consultants, and social workers further support patients and deliveries. Join Providence in providing exceptional, coordinated care to patients and families on Portland's vibrant westside.
Position Details:
  • Full-time, 1.0 FTE
  • Encompasses both clinic-based and inpatient/surgical settings
  • Group takes call in-house; assigned call room for use when there is down time in the hospital

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-years of post-graduate clinical experience as Certified Nurse Midwife preferred; or new graduate Certified Nurse Midwife with 2-years recent clinical RN experience in antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum setting required
  • First Assist/C-Section surgical experience preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Compensation is between $77.21 and $90.65 per hour
  • Compensation is depending on experience
  • Guaranteed salary, quality incentive, CME funds and hours, starting bonus, and relocation assistance available
