Job description

Providence Medical Group Alaska is seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist to join the team with flexible scheduling options, offering a hybrid schedule model that blends in-person and telehealth coverage.
Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to the growth and development of adolescents as a full-time Pediatric Endocrinologist in Anchorage for Providence Medical Group Alaska. In this role, you will provide consultation in developing clinic policies, clinic protocols, forms, reports, and records, as well as promote new and enhance existing services at Providence. Conduct meaningful work and experience an excellent quality of life in Anchorage, Alaska.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage hormonal disorders related to dietary needs, such as diabetes and obesity
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of endocrine glands and their role in adolescent growth and development
  • Analyze records, reports and examination information to monitor patients' condition, progress and treatment
  • Collect and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, and exam results
  • Provide on-call services as necessary
  • Identify serious or specialized illness or injuries and refer patients to the necessary specialist
  • Maintain successful working relationships with nurses and other medical facility staff
  • Participate in occasional and reasonable amounts of teaching and educational activities
