Job description

Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), Weekend On Call, PRN

Providence Hospice and Palliative Care is a growing division of Providence Life Services, which provides a continuum of healthcare, focused on senior living. Providence Hospice is seeking a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN), Weekend on Call, PRN in Homer Glen, IL, and surrounding suburbs. We are looking for a compassionate RN to join our established, experienced hospice team. We provide exceptional patient centered care to patients and families facing end of life.

Schedule Available: Monday-Friday, PRN with evening on call and weekend availability required. Mileage reimbursement is included at $0.76/mile.

Pay is based on type of visit and on weekday, weekend, and holiday. Pay: $60.00 - $95.00/visit on weekday, weekend and/or holiday and type of visit. Hourly for this position for training and attending meetings is $35/hour.

Summary of essential job functions:

  • Provide skilled nursing care.
  • Provide case management services.
  • Conduct initial assessments of new patients.

Requirements:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
  • At least (1) year of RN experience, preferably in Hospice or Home Health.
  • Current CPR.
  • Driver's license in good standing.
  • Reliable transportation.
