Overview
The Part-Time Junior Analyst role within the Global Strategy team offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to Experian's business. You will provide hands-on experience with frameworks, and foundational concepts in finance and accounting.
This role is designed for undergraduate students pursuing degrees in finance, economics, accounting, or related fields. These students may also have equivalent practical experience.
As a member of the Competitive Intelligence team, you will help compile and distribute the weekly Competitor Report/Newsletter, ensuring relevant insights for company partners. You will also support ad hoc projects that involve both quantitative and qualitative analysis of competitors and market trends. This includes researching new products and evaluating opportunities to use technology to improve team processes and workflows.
You will be expected to synthesize findings, contribute recommendations, and collaborate with team members and cross-functional stakeholders to help inform strategic decision-making and maximize business impact.
This is a part-time role requiring an expected commitment of 10-15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling during the academic year. You will report into the Director of Competitive Intelligence.
Responsibilities:
  • Compile and distribute our weekly Competitor Report/Newsletter
  • Conduct market research and monitor the global competitor landscape
  • Analyze financial statements (e.g. 10Q, 10K)
  • Develop profiles of global competitors
  • Use publicly available information and third-party databases (e.g. Capital IQ, LSEG, Pitchbook) to support analysis

Qualifications
Requirements:
  • Current undergraduate student with an expected graduation date between 2027 and 2029 (preferred)
  • Pursuing a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and its application to innovation and efficiency
