The Automation Controls Engineer will design, fabricate, program, install, modify, and repair all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment, and machinery.
You Will Have the Opportunity to:
  • Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles.
  • Generate electrical schematics and documentation necessary to install and troubleshoot control system and interface it to other system components.
  • Perform PLC/HMI/Automation Controller programming with emphasis on program reliability, safety and ease of updated troubleshooting documentation.
  • Define scope documents for new and existing equipment from external providers. Establish product acceptance criteria.
  • Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical requirements.

Education and Experience Required:
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering or demonstrated required capability as an Automation technician for 5 years.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma principles
