Orthotic and Prosthetic Sales RepresentativePosition Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Orthotic and Prosthetic Sales Representative to promote and sell our range of orthotic and prosthetic devices to healthcare professionals, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. The ideal candidate will have strong product knowledge, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for improving patients’ mobility and quality of life through innovative solutions.

This role requires developing and maintaining deep relationships with referral sources including hospitals, physicians, surgeons (orthopedic, vascular, trauma, etc.), physical therapists, rehabilitation specialists, and case managers to drive patient referrals and device utilization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales & Business Development

    • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with hospitals, doctors, orthopedic and vascular surgeons, rehabilitation centers, physical therapy clinics, and other referral partners.

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territory.

    • Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and in-service training sessions for clinical teams.

  • Account Management

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring prompt and effective communication.

    • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities.

    • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with company policies.

  • Product Knowledge & Support

    • Stay current with company product lines, industry innovations, and competitive offerings.

    • Provide clinical and technical support to customers to ensure proper product use.

    • Relay customer feedback to the product development and operations teams.

  • Sales Targets & Reporting

    • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.

    • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and territory performance analyses.

Qualifications
  • Experience:

    • 1-3 years of medical device sales experience, preferably in orthotics/prosthetics or rehabilitation.

    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

    • Established network of contacts within hospitals, physician offices, and surgical specialties preferred.

  • Skills:

    • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing abilities.

    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

    • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
