Thief River Falls is a beautiful small town with small town amenities like locally owned boutiques. The Thief River and Red Lake River come together to provide a great place for fishing and kayaking. Thief River Falls is located only a couple of hours away from Lake of the Woods and Winnipeg, Canada, and one hour away from Grand Forks, North Dakota, for fun weekend getaways. Thief River Falls Sanford Equip supports our local hospital and clinic, along with many other rural hospitals and clinics.
Summary
Responsible to manage the comprehensive orthotic and prosthetic patient care under the direction of a physician's prescription. This includes patient assessment, formulation and implementation of a treatment plan, as well as follow-up and practice management.
Job Description
The orthosis/prosthesis is designed to restore physiological function and/or cosmesis.
Qualifications
Completed the schooling necessary to become certified as a Certified Orthotic/Prosthetic Practitioner.
Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics through the American Board for Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) is required. Possess a valid Class D driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
