$18.00 – $25.00/Hour (Based on Experience)
1st Shift | Full-Time

ProSource People is currently seeking an experienced OD Grinder for a full-time opportunity with a growing company in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating cylindrical grinders and the ability to work independently while producing high-quality precision components.

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual with strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

âś” Operate cylindrical/OD grinding equipment
âś” Grind pump shafts up to 48" in length
âś” Grind tungsten carbide and silicon carbide materials
âś” Maintain tight tolerances within 0.0005"
âś” Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
âś” Set up and operate machinery according to specifications
âś” Perform measurements and adjustments as needed
âś” Maintain a clean and safe work environment
âś” Work independently with minimal supervision

Qualifications:

âś” 2+ years of OD/cylindrical grinding experience required
âś” Experience working with precision machining equipment
âś” Ability to read and interpret measurements and specifications
