Job description

Unarmed Security Officer

Prosegur Security is looking for Part Time Unarmed Security Officers in the Augusta area with a strong work ethic and quality customer service skills. Prosegur is one of the largest security providers in the world consisting of over 160,000 employees in over 30 countries. We are looking for Security professionals that want to grow and develop professionally in our organization

Shifts include WEEKEND 2 pm to 10pm Saturday and Sunday

Hourly starting wage: $16.80/hr.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general Unarmed security duties to our clients.
  • Promote safety by being alert to observe, correct, and report any hazards.
  • Understand and comply with Prosegur and Client requirements, as well as specific post instructions.
  • Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures.
  • Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner.
  • This position will require you to be customer service oriented and have basic to intermediate computer skills, as well as effective written and oral communication skills.
  • You must be able to perform routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer.

Qualifications:

  • 18+ years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • State Issued Security License
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver license
  • Capable of following complex instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
  • Knowledge of security operations and procedures
