Job Title: Proposal Specialist

Job Schedule: Day Shift

Compensation Range: Between $75,000 - $125,000 CDN annually

Essential Functions:

  • Define/engineer/manage bids and solutions for power plant simulators and/or digital control systems alongside Engineering, Operations and Business Development;
  • Take ownership of the solution, engage with estimators and other functional groups to accurately cost the project;
  • Present the solution and cost basis to all levels of management;
  • Draft and deliver the technical proposal (excellent writing and oral/presentation skills are required);
  • Support supply chain to estimate and to optimize costs;
  • Provide support in the field (demos and presentations) at industry conferences.;
  • Occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or in a Science (or equivalent substantiated by experience);
  • Experience in industrial controls (DCC or DCS), nuclear power simulation, or equivalent;
  • Autonomous and proactive in meeting goals, and very functional in a dynamic team environment;
  • Excellent communication skills. Preferably bilingual French and English, written and spoken;
  • Fully functional in Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and in IBM DOORS (an asset);

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with theControlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
