Job description

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Quality Engineer (QE) for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to support proposal efforts, continuous improvement efforts and strategic initiatives.
What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for several aspects of Quality including:
Understanding quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software,
systems, suppliers / sub-contractors, and customers.
Ability to learn proposals, Basis of Estimate (BOE) and contract review.
Collaborate and partner with other functions including Program Manager, Proposal Manager, Contracts, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production and Customers.
Support program proposals, strategic initiatives, and a variety of projects aimed at improving processes.
Assist in establishing quality budgets and cost commitments.
Participate in independent reviews including Readiness Acceptance Check (RAC), customer proposal / BOE reviews, customer negotiations, Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) audits.
