Job description

***This role can be remote in the following states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, IN, KS, MO, NC, OH, SC, NV, TN, TX***

***This role will be working Saturday and Sunday***

Position Summary

The Senior Pricing Analyst uses recent home AVMs to derive current and forecasted estimated values for single family homes, townhomes, and individual condominium units. The primary focus of this role is to quickly determine value ranges of homes while working portfolio pipelines, to sign as many contracts as possible with aggressive and accurate offers. As a Senior Pricing Analyst, this role works with and reports to the Chief Acquisitions Officer at HQ. This role is responsible for quickly analyzing and valuing residential real estate opportunities which come onto our platform. Cold calling and/or talking to individual Sellers is NOT a responsibility of this position.

Essential Functions

  • Provide property valuation on single family properties
  • Analyze properties from a variety of different sources
  • Analyze data and trends to proactively identify current market values and make accurate valuations on an assortment of different product types and price points in the real estate market
  • Participate in and coordinate due diligence and provide overall transaction support including contracting and managing third party report
  • Track local real estate market data
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the real estate market
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property valuation for single family homes
  • Experience working in real estate and understanding true market value, BPO experience, and past REO account management is beneficial
  • Subject Matter Expert in Property Valuation
  • Active or inactive real estate license
  • Proficient in common computer applications, including Microsoft Office
  • Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented self-starter who is comfortable with multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to think quickly on their feet and adapt to a changing market
  • Strong quantitative and analytical ability and internet research, organization, and communication skills
  • Effective decision-making skills and an ability to perform under deadline pressure
