Job description

Keeley Properties is looking to hire a Commercial Assistant Property Manager to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Address and promptly resolve questions, requests, and concerns from commercial tenants.
  • Assist with the preparation, distribution, execution, and tracking of commercial leases, amendments, renewals, and other lease-related documents.
  • Manage tenant records and files, ensuring all required lease and legal documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist with tenant move-ins and move-outs, including coordination of access, building requirements, and other property-related needs.
  • Process rent payments, generate statements, review AP and AR, and assist in resolving tenant billing and invoice issues.
  • Follow up with prospective tenant leads and assist with property tours and leasing inquiries.
  • Maintain positive relationships with tenants and serve as a point of contact for day-to-day property needs.
  • Assist the Property Manager with vendor management, service contracts, budgets, property expenses, and accounts.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to address maintenance, repairs, and tenant requests.
  • Participate in planning tenant and commercial property events, including setup, operation, and teardown.
  • Complete monthly property walks of all buildings to evaluate physical condition, janitorial standards, maintenance needs, and necessary repairs.
  • Assist with tracking and completing tenant service and maintenance requests.
  • Support the Property Manager with overall day-to-day operations of the commercial property portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Commercial real estate, property management, facilities management, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Expected to complete necessary safety and industry-related certifications.
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate industry, including leases, property operations, market trends, and applicable regulations preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Yardi, Onsite, or other property management software is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to various property sites as necessary.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to professionally resolve tenant concerns and work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate property and tenant records.
