BeachWalk Vacations is a locally owned, short-term vacation management group dedicated to our homeowners and we place significant value in each relationship. We view our relationship as a partnership, with the shared goals of maximizing gross revenue, while maintaining the owner’s investment by minimizing risk. With roughly 100 properties under our management, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our homeowners and their guests.

OVERVIEW

The Property Inspector is responsible for ensuring each vacation home is clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready prior to arrival. The Property Inspector will interact with cleaners, property manager, and in some cases the incoming guest. The Property Inspector performs a variety of tasks including, reporting and opening maintenance requests and concerns, coordinating with contract cleaners to ensure proper care and efficient cleaning, inspecting the cleanings of homes and coordinating any callbacks to cleaners, delivering housewares and linens to guests in-house, light maintenance items in the home.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact regarding the status of assigned properties.
  • Conduct detailed inspections to ensure homes meet cleanliness and guest readiness standards.
  • Report maintenance and repair needs to the Property Manager.
  • Maintain excellent customer service while communicating with team members, homeowners, vendors, and guests.
  • Deliver linens, housewares, and other guest items as needed.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to maintain quality standards and inventory.
  • Perform light maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, batteries, tightening hardware, and similar tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance on bicycles and golf carts.
  • Use company mobile applications on an iOS or Android device.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly required to drive, speak, and listen. Frequent driving between properties is required. This position regularly involves climbing multiple flights of stairs, lifting and carrying items weighing up to 35 pounds, bending, reaching, and moving household items during inspections. Housekeeping prep will require lifting, minimal hauling, and bending. Work in the laundry warehouse will require lifting, handling, and loading laundry bags weighing up to 35 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this position. Work is primarily conducted in vacation rental homes with noise levels ranging from moderate to high. The position requires frequent inspections of both interior and exterior property areas and may involve exposure to varying weather conditions.
