  • Basic ability to understand and manipulate data from a variety of sources Experience with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills required Accurately keeps track of details and deliverables This position is required to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on doing whatever it takes to get the job done and deliver customer delight
  • The nature of the role requires an ability to deliver high quality, thorough and accurate work on deadlines through successful navigation of shifting customer requirements and competing organizational demands Standard business hours are generally observed, with work from home schedules and flexibility on start/end times, and there may also be opportunities for limited domestic/international travel

What is the Global Order Operations Team and why join?

The Associate Buyer position resides within the Global Order Operations team and interacts directly with Inside Sales, Buyers, and authorized suppliers.

What will you be doing?

The Associate Buyer provides support in a variety of ways to ensure Procurement delivers effective, efficient, and high quality service. This role is expected to develop and maintain strong business relationships with both internal and external customers. This involves working closely with suppliers to develop business relationships that help facilitate a more streamlined approach to sourcing while ensuring high levels of service are maintained.

Detailed and timely communication is critical to the success of this role and the consistent execution of the responsibilities listed below.

Responsibilities:

  • Status and update open purchase order lines
  • Resolves mostly routine and some non-routine tasks
  • Manage, Analyze and Execute daily reports
  • Develop and cultivate business relationships with vendors
  • Maintain Procurement Support KPI's
  • Run Rate Purchase Order creation
  • Nonconformance Resolution
  • Facilitate RTV functional tasks
  • Obtain vendor credits and process customer credits to balance financial transactions
