What does a property management assistant do?

The job duties of a property management assistant include overseeing maintenance and repairs and handling administrative responsibilities for an apartment complex or housing community. In this career, you assist the property manager with the general upkeep of the residential units and provide any necessary services for tenants. The Poppleton’s convenient location near public transportation, major highways, neighborhood resources, and downtown Omaha makes it a unique opportunity to create an exceptional living experience for future residents.

The Property Manager will oversee day-to-day property operations, resident services, leasing activity, financial performance, and compliance while building a strong foundation for the community from the ground up.

  • Provide a high level of customer service while developing positive relationships with residents, applicants, vendors, and team members.
  • Maintain a professional, positive, and solutions-oriented approach when addressing challenges and competing priorities.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities while working both independently and as part of a team.
