Silver Tree Residential is looking for a dependable, quality-focused Maintenance Professional to join our progressively growing team in Batavia, NY. The Maintenance Professional is responsible for the prompt and efficient performance of all tasks assigned by the Community Director and for continuous self-improvement of skills and expertise. We are looking for a reliable team member who is willing to uphold our community to the highest standards.
Summary of Requirements:
  • Working with Directors in managing all maintenance-related and capital improvement activities within an assigned property.
  • Inspecting, scheduling and performing routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as necessary or as directed by the Directors.
  • Capable of dealing effectively with supervisors, residents, vendors and co-workers.
  • Satisfying work orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems and various appliances, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, and refrigerators. Some familiarity with electricity, plumbing, and carpentry is required.
  • Assist in the make ready process of vacant apartments to get them ready for new move-ins in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
  • Prior Residential, Apartment, Hospitality Maintenance experience required.
  • Must have his/her own tools.
  • A valid Driver's License and dependable transportation is strongly preferred.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 3 years property maintenance experience and willing to share an on-call rotation. It is essential that the Maintenance Professional report to work at his/her regularly scheduled work hours, and have the physical capability to walk all around the property (including stairs), lift heavy items, and otherwise perform a variety of physical tasks regularly and as needed.
