Leasing Manager- Foxfire Apartments

Location: 8737 Contee Road, Laurel, MD

Salary Range: Starting at $28/hr. with $1000 ONE-TIME SIGN ON BONUS

Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 9:00AM – 6:00PM
Saturday: 9:00AM – 5:00PM
Sunday: 12:00PM – 5:00PM
Weekend availability required: Candidates must be able to work two Saturdays per month and provide coverage when needed.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Providing top-quality customer service to prospective and current residents

  • Working closely with the Property Manager and Assistant Property Manager on the lease-renewal program, including resident follow-up, strategic communication, and monthly resident engagement initiatives to support renewal objectives

  • Initiating marketing efforts that promote the community to prospective and renewing residents, including social media, open houses, offsite outreach, and community events

  • Actively participating in the leasing process by generating and monitoring traffic, leasing apartments, qualifying prospects, preparing lease documentation, and completing move-in procedures in accordance with established policies. Ensures the leasing process is completed with strict compliance for both self and team

  • Scheduling and leading regular sales meetings with the Leasing team to review performance, objectives, and progress toward goals

  • Implementing corrective action plans with the Property Manager when leasing velocity targets are not met

  • Driving leasing velocity through daily pricing review and staying informed on market trends and competitor conditions that may impact sales results

  • Maintaining working knowledge of rent and pricing information, concessions, vacancies, availability, and community offerings

  • Collecting security deposits, rent, and other funds as needed

  • Collaborating with onsite management and maintenance teams to deliver exceptional resident service

  • Ensuring full compliance with Fair Housing laws and standards

  • Participating in training seminars and development programs

  • Valid Driver’s License required

What We’re Looking for in a Candidate
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • A minimum of 2–3 years of property management experience, preferably in a Leasing Manager or Senior Leasing Consultant role

  • Background in customer service, hospitality, or sales

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-related software platforms

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to property success

  • Flexibility to work the required schedule, including weekends

  • Successful completion of background and drug screening prior to employment
