Job description

Industrial Forklift Operator

This position involves driving a sit-down industrial forklift, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials on the production floor, warehouse, and trailer with and without pallets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Transport unfinished and finished jobs or goods into the correct areas
  • Move goods for jobs in process to appropriate areas as needed
  • Inspect incoming product
  • Load and unload trailers
  • Notify the supervisor of any mechanical or material issues
  • May confer with managers to ensure coordination of other production lines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area by moving empty pallets to a designated area
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Willing to work overtime and/or weekends as requested by Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and/or Production Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 10 - 12 hour shift
  • Monday to Saturday

Experience:

  • Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Warehouse management: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Propane-powered Sit-down Forklift: 1 year (Required)
