Job description

Service Coordinator

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for overseeing and implementing all fuel and propane service work in the field and at the office
  • Work in the field as necessary setting tanks, doing visual inspections, providing pumping station training, etc.
  • Bulk plant inspections
  • Monitor emergency calls & dispatch bobtail and peddle trucks after hours and on weekends
  • Communicate and coordinate with the Customer Service Manager and CSRs
  • Communicate and coordinate with the propane and fuel salespeople
  • Communicate effectively with new and existing customers
  • Perform random truck inspections in a timely manner as directed by the HR manager
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects in a timely manner
  • Sell products and services to potential customers on the phone or in the office
  • Purchase fuel tanks and parts
  • Purchase propane service products
  • Train service techs
  • Load customer bulk trucks when necessary
  • Organize & maintain all aspects of the oil barn
  • Distribute discharge system inspection forms to drivers on the 1st of each month and collect
  • Maintain pumping station employee training program
  • Maintain pumping station maintenance program
  • Month end inventory
    • Tank inventory
    • Purged gallons
    • Cased goods inventory
    • Bulk oil inventory

Job Requirements:

  • Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities

  • Valid CDL B driver's license (with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements) and clean driving record
  • Education: High school diploma/GED required
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in similar position preferred
