Status: Full-Time / Hourly
Position Overview:
Southern FS Inc. is hiring a multi-skilled Energy Team Member for our Dexter, MO location. This is a hybrid, hands-on role combining fuel transport, propane delivery, and energy service work.
Key Responsibilities:
Fuel & Transport Deliveries:
- Deliver bulk petroleum products safely and efficiently
- Load/unload transport and bobtail trucks
- Stick tanks before/after delivery
- Complete tickets, BOLs, inspections, and DOT logs
- Maintain truck and perform routine maintenance
Propane (LP) Delivery & Customer Service:
- Deliver propane to residential, agricultural, and commercial customers
- Perform leak checks and verify tank safety
- Monitor tank conditions and report safety concerns
- Maintain efficient delivery routes
- Communicate with customers and maintain records
Energy Service & Installation Work:
- Install and service propane systems, tanks, and regulators
- Perform repairs and maintenance
- Deliver lubricants and additional energy products
- Handle service calls and customer concerns
Sales & Growth Support:
- Promote propane, fuel, and energy services
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts
Requirements:
- CDL (Class A or B)
- Hazmat & Tanker Endorsements required
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs and work outdoors
- Must pass background check and drug screen
