Position Overview 

We're seeking a safe, dependable, and customer-focused Propane Delivery Driver to join our team in Lexington Park, MD. In this role, you'll safely deliver propane to residential and commercial customers while providing excellent service and maintaining compliance with all DOT and company safety standards. Responsibilities 

• Safely deliver propane fuel to residential and commercial customers throughout the service area  
• Operate and maintain a propane delivery truck in compliance with DOT regulations  
• Pull delivery hoses, connect equipment, and perform physical tasks associated with propane deliveries  
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain company equipment in clean, safe working condition  
• Provide professional customer service during deliveries and respond to customer questions when needed  
• Utilize the Cargas system to accurately document deliveries and customer information  
• Communicate effectively with office staff regarding delivery status, route updates, and equipment concerns  
• Participate in a rotational on-call schedule for emergency propane deliveries 

Qualifications 

• Valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements  
• Current DOT Medical Card  
• Clean driving record  
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred  
• Ability to safely operate a propane delivery truck and work independently  
• Ability to lift, pull, and maneuver delivery hoses and equipment  
• Ability to climb in and out of a bulk truck throughout the workday  
• Prior propane delivery experience is a plus, but we will train qualified CDL drivers  
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random DOT-required drug testing  
• Dependable, safety-focused, and customer-oriented 

Schedule 

• Monday-Friday, typically 7:30 AM-4:30 PM 
• Winter schedule may require a 7:00 AM start time 
• Overtime is expected during peak winter months and weather-related demand periods 
• Rotational Saturday hours during the busy heating season, as needed 
• Rotational on-call schedule for emergency propane deliveries with additional compensation
