Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company is looking for a Part-Time Forklift Operator to join the team! The Forklift Operator is to inspect and transport propane cylinders by loading and unloading with a forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. This position offers an in-house OSHA certified training.

Responsibilities
  • Transports propane cylinders safely around the yard with forklift.
  • Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines
  • Position may require working evening hours and weekends as needed
  • Completes and submits log sheets, BOL's, packing slips and other paperwork as required.
  • Documents forklift inspection before shift start up for mechanical safely and compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Inspects vehicle regularly and notifies supervisor maintenance is needed.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting production shifts with other staffing needs when not operating forklift.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand and pass any necessary training requirements and exams
  • 1+ years of work experience, preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions
  • Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
