Job description

You will deliver propane to residential establishments using tank trucks and/or tractor trailers.

Responsibilities:
As a Propane Delivery Driver, you will make routine deliveries to customer's homes and provide them with timely and safe propane deliveries. As you will be the key component in ensuring safe and prompt delivery to our customers, you must always follow safety company policies and procedures as well as DOT regulations.
Specific qualifications include:
  • Safely operating all aspects of a propane bobtail
  • Accurately assessing customer propane usage
  • Perform billing procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Perform safety checks on company and customer equipment through visual examination before dispensing fuel products
  • Responding to and following out-of-gas procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment and equipment while adhering to OSHA, State and Federal safety regulations
  • Follow routine and time schedule
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards

Requirements:
As a Propane Delivery Driver you will use your navigation and safety skills to successfully deliver propane to our customers. You will need to be detail-oriented as well as focused with a flexible and adaptable nature.
Specific qualifications include:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • CTEP certified, preferred
  • Valid CDL Class A or B Driver License with Tank and Hazmat endorsements
  • Ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
  • Must be reliable, diligent, dependable
  • Ability to effectively utilize maps, locate addresses
  • Propane Delivery experience a plus
  • Possible nights, weekend work; potential overtime
  • Clean driving record a must
