A proofreader reviews written content to identify and correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. Their main goal is to ensure that documents are clear, consistent, and free of mistakes before publication or distribution. They may also check for consistency in style and verify that content adheres to specific editorial guidelines.
