What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a proofreader in editing, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Proofreader in Editing, you need a keen eye for detail, strong grammar and spelling proficiency, and a solid understanding of language conventions, often supported by a degree in English, journalism, or communications.
