Events and Tradeshows Planner

Little Rock, Arkansas

The Garver Communications Team is a group of strategic thinkers and creative doers all steadfastly focused on telling the story we live out every workday – that Garver is the best firm to work for and with. We do this by bringing on the best talent in our respective disciplines and collaborating in a fun, fast‑paced environment to execute award‑winning creative campaigns.

We are looking to add an Events and Tradeshows Planner to our crew. With the support of a fully equipped creative team, you will assist internal clients in the promotion of tradeshow exhibitions and industry conferences, as well as project‑manage internal events that span Garver’s 18‑state footprint.

In this role, you’ll develop strategic promotions around Garver’s most visible client and industry interactions: tradeshows and conferences. This highly organized individual will become a trusted advisor to our internal clients by bringing creativity, energy, and efficiency to Garver’s presence at these events, while managing the many details it takes to execute them exactly. You’ll also manage logistics for some internal events, communicating with employees across Garver Nation to ensure they get the most out of their experience. Occasional travel may be required.

What You’ll Do
  • Establish relationships with our internal clients and develop promotion plans that most effectively meet their needs.
  • Serve as project manager to facilitate communications, creative, and collateral for 90+ conferences and trade shows per year.
  • Collaborate with our designers, copywriters, photographers, videographers, and digital team members to take creative deliverables from concept to final product, including:
  • Pre‑event emails
  • Customized printed collateral
  • Social media (promotion of conference presentations, presence at conference)
  • Events pages on GarverUSA.com
  • Coordination of booth displays and graphics
  • Tradeshow advertising
  • Promotion of giveaways
  • Signage
  • Promo items and apparel
  • Maintain frequent touchpoints with your clients throughout the conference season
  • Manage promotion of and logistics for annual company‑wide events, specifically our executive team’s annual Town Hall Tour and our Best Firm Celebrations.
What You’ll Bring
  • You have at least five years of experience working as a project manager, preferably with coordinating events, meetings, and/or tradeshows.
  • You love to work with your clients and help them think creatively about how to best represent the Garver brand.
  • You have strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • You think through and prioritize the audience experience: whether through digital communications or in‑person events.
  • You’re structured, disciplined, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • You’re stimulated by challenges.
  • You think on your feet every day, and pivot and multitask fluidly.
  • Bonus points if you have experience working with Asana or a similar project management system.
