Responsibilities include:ย 

  • Supports and administers operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.
  • Adheres to scheduling and coordinates with manager any scheduling concerns, with attention to guest satisfaction.
  • Develops, coordinates, and executes all promotions, direct mail promotions, regularly scheduled entertainment acts, tournaments, and/or other special events to target retail and database customers while supporting compliance initiatives and adherence to departmental budget.
  • Supports the efforts and projects of Marketing Leadership as requested.
  • Coordinates cross-functional support for special events, promotions, and entertainment, ensuring alignment across all departments; partners with other Marketing Team members to complete and verify all final details for printed and digital materials supporting promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP events.
  • Writes project summaries and compiles financial budget information for events and promotions.
  • Analyzes the effectiveness and success of promotions, special events, entertainment, and VIP parties.
  • Enthusiastically supports and actively promotes marketing initiatives and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

  • Associate's degree (A.A.) in marketing, finance or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience. One year of administrative or special events/promotions experience required, preferably in Marketing.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills; strong client interface and presentation skills preferred.
  • Must have strong technical proficiency and knowledge in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and an ability to lean new applications and programs.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to drive toward results.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Must have strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and to collaborate with others as needed.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to think creatively and possess high attention to detail.
