Job Title: Coordinator -- Promotions
Department: Player Development
Reports To: Promotions Assistant Manager


Summary
Under the direction of the Assistant Promotions Manager, the Promotions Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for the Promotions department through the coordination, tracking, and execution of casino promotions, special events, and other marketing initiatives. The Promotions Coordinator is responsible for Managing documentation, assisting with budget tracking, invoice processing, and cross-departmental coordination and communication. The Promotions Coordinator also plays an integral role by directly engaging with guests through on-floor promotions and emcee responsibilities.


Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Provides administrative and operational support to the department ensuring accurate tracking and timely completion of promotional and special events.
  • Maintains promotional calendars, event timelines, internal communications, and departmental documentation to support effective coordination.
  • Assists with purchases, budget tracking, including invoice processing, vendor setup and payment submissions.
  • Works with departments and external vendors to coordinate deliverables, timelines, event requirements and on-site logistics.
  • Assists with promotions or special events including staffing coordination, supplies, signage and/or setup and breakdown.
  • Participates in on-floor promotions and events by engaging with guests, creating excitement and enhancing the overall guest experience.
  • Serves as emcee and delivers clear, exciting, engaging and professional announcements on the casino floor and at events as needed.
  • Handles promotional funds, including large cash amounts while adhering to established internal procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate promotion/event documentation. Including winner paperwork, Title 31 documents, cash requests, event orders.
  • Responsible for maintaining special event calendars and informational memos to support clear, effective cross-departmental communication.
  • Work off-site events, including partner/sponsorship events. This can include delivery, set-up and breakdown of event space for activations.
  • Collaborate with departments for needs including but not limited to Food & Beverages, Entertainment, Security and Advertising to align event details and ensure seamless guest experience.* Responsible for the enforcement of all applicable regulations, under the code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, as it pertains to this position. This includes, but is not limited to, observing and reporting suspicious activity, of either customers or employees, as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, by attending Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering training, provided by Casino Arizona, at least once a year or more if required by management and outlined in the Title 31 Minimum Internal Controls. Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED required; college degree in business, sales, or marketing strongly preferred. One (1) year experience in Marketing or Special Events required; Three (3) years prior casino experience required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.


Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have excellent PC skills. Working experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) is required. Intermediate experience working with Casino Marketplace preferred.

* Must have the ability to work independently with little supervision.
* Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Must be prepared to do public speaking in front of crowds, on casino floor, or event stages as required.
* Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
* Must present a well-groomed appearance for all on and off-site promotions/events.
* Must have reliable transportation as travel may be required to work between Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort.
* Must have strong organizational skills with attention to detail, professionalism and the ability to create an energetic and memorable guest experience.
