Job Title: Associate Director/Manager/Sr Manager/Director, Advertising and Promotion Location: Pharma Company Type: Long-term Contract (12 months to start with potential to 24-48 months) Compensation: Market rate Work Model: Remote Hours: 40.0 Overview The Associate Director/Manager/Sr Manager/Director, Advertising and Promotion will provide strategic support to the review of Advertising and Promotion materials in order to meet the US brand team’s objectives while ensuring the necessary level of regulatory compliance. Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic Regulatory support to the review of Advertising and Promotion materials in order to meet the US brand team’s objectives while ensuring the necessary level of regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure business compliance and implementation of and adherence to Regulatory standards.
  • Regulatory review of any internal and external business communications. Support sales and marketing initiatives and programs in NY.
  • Engage in activities to improve the regulatory environment through Agency contacts such as the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion (OPDP) and trade associations.
  • Mentor newer staff members across disciplines and review committees. Enhance collaboration across a matrixed organization and develop constructive relationships.
  • Work independently and recognize issues requiring escalation to Senior Management.
  • Apply critical review skills and creative solutions to diverse promotional scenarios within a highly matrixed environment.
  • Perform detailed work ensuring internal and cross-departmental consistency through knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of effective delivery in complex matrix environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Relevant education, overall experience, and prior track record will determine level of the candidate.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and relevant industry experience required; preferred in scientific disciplines.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs with significant Subject Matter Expertise in AdPromo.
  • Experience reading, understanding, and applying regulations in a constantly changing environment.
  • Ability to develop independent strategies to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of evolving regulatory guidance related to AdPromo regulations.
  • Ability to identify emerging issues and recommend solutions, including in areas of ambiguity.
  • High level of self-awareness, adaptability, resilience, and willingness to learn.
  • Occasional travel to major medical meetings and conventions for monitoring and auditing promotional activities.
  • 7+ years of regulatory experience including significant Advertising & Promotion expertise; launch experience is a plus.
