Promontory Club is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Facilities Housekeeping – Full time/ Seasonal.

The position of Housekeeping provides support to the Housekeeping Team by working side by side with them. This includes cleaning services before, during and after regular business hours to the Communal areas, Members clubs, fitness rooms, restaurants and other amenities of the Ranch Club and its outlets. The Housekeeping will maintain buildings to the highest quality of cleanliness and follow all cleaning protocols provided by the Director of Facilities. Housekeeping is responsible to handle Member requests and ensure issues are resolved as quickly as possible by your own actions or with the help of the Director of Facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Covering shifts.
  • Ensure daily area cleaning assignments are completed as scheduled.
  • Follow each area’s Standard Operating Procedures as outlined by the Facilities Director.
  • Clean all areas assigned to emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning windows, cleaning restrooms, and laundry.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
  • Use the correct chemicals provided by the Director of Facilities.
  • Report any broken equipment, or safety hazards to the Director of Facilities.
  • Ensure area cleaning check off lists are complete and turn into Director of Facilities box.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to Director of Facilities. Complete safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Facilities.
  • Must be able to work Weekends and Holidays.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promontory Development functions on a seven day per week basis. This position may be required to work different shifts, including holidays and weekends, to accommodate the changing needs of the business. The number of hours worked each week may vary to meet the changing demands of the business and may require more or less than 40 hours per week. Schedule is subject to change at any time.
  • There may be occasions where it may be necessary for this position to serve as otherwise directed or needed to help maintain the effective and efficient operation of Promontory Development. This assignment will be at the discretion of the Director of Facilities, Director of Operations or the Club Manager on duty. Housekeeping Supervisor must be flexible as schedules are subject to change based on the needs of Promontory.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Must be at least 18 years of age.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Housekeeping experience in facility building

WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures, work independently with little supervision, be courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members, Employees and maintain a positive attitude at all times.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs exerting up to 75lbs of force occasionally to move objects both horizontally and vertically, must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

The wage starts at $18.00/hr. and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
